At Cody Party Centre, we strongly believe the success of our franchisees is based on our extensive franchisee selection process, our continuous training and our on-going support programs.

In choosing franchisees, preference will be given to applicants who:

• Appreciate the benefits of working on a team and within a proven operating system.

• Demonstrates good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Are familiar with, and involved in the community where the store is located.

• Actively work in and manage the store.

• Have the funds to invest in the store, as well as the financial ability to survive the first year, while drawing only a nominal salary.

• Franchise Compatibility Profile review.

• Interview(s) to determine if the potential for a good business relationship exists.

• Review of corporate objectives and timing for a new store , OR

• Successful outcome of negotiations with the vendor franchisee for a refranchise opportunity.

Because it is impossible to predict how long it will take for a new store to reach a sales level that produces sufficient income for the franchisee, preference will be given to franchisees who do not rely on the income from the store for living expenses. We consider an ideal situation to be one where one of the spouses/partners continues to maintain his/her job while the other works at the development of the business. When the store produces sufficient profits, both spouses could then become involved and leave other jobs behind
